Getty Fire: Evacuation Warning Issued Amid Brush Blaze Near Getty Center In
An evacuation warning was issued Wednesday afternoon after a brush fire broke out in the hills near the Getty Center in Brentwood, Los Angeles. The fire, dubbed the Getty Fire by crews, was reported shortly after 4:15 PM near the northbound lanes of the 405 Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Aerial footage showed flames burning through dense vegetation in the hills above the freeway.
