From India’s lunar mission Chandrayaan-3 to the country’s first solar mission Aditya-L1, Bengali scientist Sunny Mitra from West Bengal's Raniganj has been associated with several of ISRO’s landmark space programmes. His latest contribution to the EOS-05 Earth observation satellite mission has once again brought pride to Raniganj, West Burdwan and Bengal. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully launched the advanced Earth observation satellite EOS-05 aboard the GSLV-F17 rocket on September 4.
