Thane Police Admit Case Diary Lapses In Advocate Sarita Khanchandani Suicide
Thane Police have admitted lapses in maintaining the case diary in the alleged suicide case of advocate Sarita Khanchandani after scrutiny by the Bombay High Court. A 13-page affidavit says disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against four officers and the investigation transferred. Police have also promised stronger supervision of case diaries to prevent similar deficiencies.
