Air India Express flight turns back after engine oil pressure drops dangerously
An Air India Express flight, which was en route to Abu Dhabi, made a safe return to Cochin after experiencing a rapid drop in engine oil quantity. The Boeing 737's crew discovered the problem while cruising at 36,000 feet and opted to shut down the affected engine as oil pressure levels became critically low. Fortunately, the plane landed without incident at Cochin International Airport.
