Brics 2026: Inside heightened security deployment for Xi's first India visit
This will be Xi Jinping's first India visit since 2016. Xi will land in Delhi around noon on Saturday, accompanied by a 67-member govt entourage. Beijing has warned specifically about the possible use of drones, banners, loudspeakers and balloons as tools for anti-China propaganda. Apart from attending a Brics summit session, Xi will have a bilateral meeting with PM Narendra Modi and join him later for a state dinner.
