Video: Locals scramble to rescue man trapped in Delhi's Satya Niketan building
The building, located in the densely packed area near Delhi University’s South Campus, had around 15 rooms, with two to three students reportedly staying in each. Repair or construction work was underway in the basement, where water had accumulated. The building was built in the 1990s. The cause of the collapse is yet to be determined, according to police officials.
