WATCH: Massive Avalanche In Russia Kills 11 Climbers On Mount Mizhirgi
At least 11 climbers were killed and six others injured after a massive avalanche swept down Mount Mizhirgi in Russia’s North Caucasus, striking a group of 33 mountaineers on Sunday, September 6. The avalanche hit the group at around 5 PM local time in the Kabardino-Balkaria region, in the Bezengi Gorge.
