Over 170 Students Study, Eat, Sleep In Cattle Shed In Karnataka - Shocking State
As many as 172 students of the Dr BR Ambedkar Residential School in Shantigrama, Hassan taluk, have now been shifted to two nearby hostels after reports highlighted the poor living and learning conditions at the school. The students were allegedly being accommodated in a cattle shed for the past five years. The school, run by the Social Welfare Department, has 92 boys and 80 girls studying in Classes 6 to 10.
