‘Attack On One, All Respond’: Khawaja Asif Warns Houthis Over Saudi Arabia
Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has warned that the newly formed Makkah Defence Alliance could become operative if Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia constitute aggression against a member state. His remarks came hours after Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi forces launched missile and drone attacks on Saudi cities and economic and energy infrastructure, injuring at least 73 civilians. The agreement was signed by Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye in Makkah last month.
