Mumbai’s Vidyavihar Connector Nears Completion After 8-Year Delay, Set To Open
The long-delayed Vidyavihar Connector flyover is nearing completion, with BMC officials expecting it to open for traffic by month-end. Finishing works including painting, staircase construction and road surfacing are underway. The 612-metre four-lane bridge will connect Vidyavihar East and West, reducing peak-hour travel time from 40-45 minutes to 10-15 minutes.
