An Indian-origin man has pleaded guilty to his role in an illegal gambling operation in the US state of Missouri that prosecutors say generated more than $9.36m. Sunilkumar Patel, 53, pleaded guilty last week in federal court in Missouri to charges including wire fraud, operating an illegal gambling business and money laundering, according to the US Attorney's Office for the Western District of Missouri.
